Jasmine-Pink, Jasminum polyanthum
A most popular Jasmine, with its abundant fragrant flowers and willingness to withstand mild frosts. This intensely fragrant, cascading evergreen vine is attractive to pollinators and people alike. Glossy, rich green foliage provides a perfectly contrasting backdrop to clusters of brilliant white, star-shaped flowers and rosy pink buds. Both flowers and buds are present during blooming season from late winter into summer, giving the plant a pleasing bicolor effect. Use to dress up old fences, train over gateways and up posts, columns and trellage. Train on a trellis or arbor as a climbing vine, or allow to roam unsupported as groundcover. To grow a Jasminum polyanthum (pink jasmine) successfully, provide it with full sun to part shade, well-drained soil, and regular watering.
