Owner of Sidekick Flowers, Seth leases his growing space from Bees N Blooms and runs the Sonoma County Flower Market (the Hub), helping local flower growers get their flowers to the San Francisco Flower Market and bringing back flowers for the local florists.

Fluffy arrived in the back yard totally feral and suspicious of humans. But over about 2 months, we showed him that humans can be OK--and they feed you! Fluffy is a strong outdoors-loving boy who spends his days exploring the farm and honing his impressive hunting skills. Gophers are his specialty. You can often spot him strolling through the Lavender Labyrinth or roaming other corners of the property in search of rodents. When he’s not on the move, he’s usually fast asleep—sometimes outside, sometimes in the funniest spots, including right on top of his food bowl.
Midnight is a shy, independent girl who mostly keeps to herself—except when it comes to Susan, whom she absolutely adores and loves to cuddle with. She splits her time between indoors and outdoors, and is a clever rodent thief of the other cats, stealing Fluffy's and Mr. Tabs' catch and running off to eat it in peace. Midnight has a fondness for cozy spots in the living room and is frequently found napping alongside her buddy Mr. Tabs.
Found wild and starving under the oak tree in the north block in 2017, Monster was brought into the farm team at 3 months old. She is a gentle, reserved girl who takes her time warming up to new people, but once she does, she’s incredibly kind. She loves curling up in cozy spots around the house, especially if they’re filled with sunshine. You’ll also catch her wandering the property, hunting for mice and voles. She loves treats, especially when Annabella sneaks some to her during the day.
Mr. Tabs showed up in 2021, feral, but you could tell he had been close to humans before. He was on the shy side at first, but once we were able to pick him up, he just melted into our arms. He’s an incredibly sweet boy. He’s also a talented hunter and proudly brings his (large!) rodent “gifts” inside to share. Most days he can be found outdoors, racing around the property or on the lookout for his next catch. When he’s not outside, he loves curling up on the couch—often sharing a cozy spot with Midnight.
Stella is our spirited Nursery kitty, most at home among the greenhouses where we first found her in early 2025 and slowly earned her trust. Though still young, she has become a loyal companion to Susan and Trish, happily following them around and demanding belly-rubs on a regular basis. She’s known for choosing the most unexpected napping spots—tarps, lawn mowers, and anything in between—and she’s an excellent rodent catcher, keeping the greenhouses clear of seedling-eating rodents!
Sunshine is one of our older cats and an absolute sweetheart! On open farm days, you’ll often find her in the Pavilion or lounging by the picnic tables, happily soaking up attention from visitors. During the week, she can usually be found keeping Susan and Annabella company in the office, curled up on a lap or supervising from a cozy spot. True to her name, she brings warmth wherever she goes—and she can never resist curling up in a good box or out in the sun.
Our lively flock of 18 chickens keeps the farm bustling with personality! You’ll spot a colorful mix of breeds, including Ameraucana, Barred Rock, Black Australorps, Black Sex-Link, Blue Barnevelder, Copper Marans, Grey Copper Marans, Mixed Polish, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Speckled Sussex, and Welsummer. And don't miss Hot Rod Roo, the resident rooster (Polish breed). He's a looker, with blue legs, beautiful iridescent feathers, and a headdress of feathers that makes the hens gaga! The chickens process weeds and garden waste into highly fertile chicken manure, which we turn into compost for our flower and vegetable gardens. They also provide entertainment for visitors.
We have 7 Cotton Patch Geese, a rare heritage breed once used to weed cotton fields and now valued for their many contributions to the farm. These geese love grazing grass, help keep orchards and lawns trimmed, and make excellent guard geese by alerting to activity around the property. Our geese come from the Walker and James lines and are well-suited as strong breeder starts. Learn more about our Cotton Patch geese and contact us through our dedicated page if you’re interested in spring goslings.
