Nestled on 11 acres at the base of Taylor Mountain Regional Park in Santa Rosa, Bees N Blooms is a lavender farm, organic nursery, and pollinator sanctuary in the heart of Sonoma County Wine Country. Founded in 2016, Bees N Blooms farm has become a favorite destination for visitors from Sonoma, Napa, and beyond who are looking to relax, explore, and enjoy a day on the farm.

Before Bees N Blooms, this land was owned by Henry and Doris Matteri, who had a dairy farm on the property for many years, providing milk for Sonoma County and beyond. Geoff and Susan set out to create a space with abundant, pesticide-free forage for pollinators, obtaining organic certification on the land in 2016 and designing the plantings on the property to provide season-long bloom for pollinators. The beauty that attracts pollinators is also needed by people, and as the community discovered the farm, our circle of friends grew. We love to share the beauty and to help others create pollinator havens in their own yards and gardens. Every walk through the Lavender Labyrinth, every plant from our Nursery, and every handcrafted lavender product reflects our belief that farms can nurture both the environment and the community.
