Open House at Bees N Blooms

Sat & Sun, April 28-29

Bees N Blooms is opening the farm to the public as part of Farm Trails spring tour weekend. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 pm. on both Saturday and Sunday and admission is free. We’re at 3883 Petaluma Hill Road, just south of Santa Rosa.

There are activities for everyone:

  • Tour the farm. Take a self-guided tour of the farm.
  • Explore the lavender labyrinth. The Bees N Blooms lavender labyrinth is the largest labyrinth in California! Composed of 900 lavender plants, the labyrinth is 170 feet across and a ½ mile walk to the center if you take the long way (or 50 feet if you take the short cut!). Learn about the different varieties of lavender and their uses.
  • Enjoy the flower arcs. Below the labyrinth is our cut flower garden. Stroll through and enjoy the sights and sounds of busy pollinators and beautiful flowers. Learn about the native bees that live on the farm.
  • Visit the ducks. Our 14 ducks serve as both slug patrol and entertainment.
  • Learn about honey bees from the Sonoma County Beekeepers Association.
  • Learn about bee-friendly flowers from the Sonoma County Beekeepers Association and plant some to take home. Workshops start at noon and 2 p.m. on both days.
  • Visit the farm stand to take home a souvenir of your day.
  • Bring a picnic to enjoy. Drinks will be available for sale at the farm stand.

This weekend is also the Grand Opening of Bees N Blooms’ new Farm Stand, so stop by and check out the goods: Flowers from Bees N Blooms and Sonoma Flower Mart, honey from our beehives, delicious fresh produce from Bees N Blooms and Coyote Family Farm, organic bee-friendly plants and trees for your spring garden from Bees N Blooms and the Sonoma County Beekeepers Association, lavender products from Bees N Blooms and Monte-Bellaria, beautiful glass art and garden objects from artists both near and far, and more!

If you would like to receive a link to an online map with the details about all of the farms on the spring tour, register with Farm Trails for free.

We hope to see you! Bring a friend, bring the kids! To keep our ducks safe, we ask that you please leave dogs at home.
