Evolution of Bees N Blooms

We thought you might enjoy seeing the progression of development at Bees N Blooms, as visible from satellite photos, with some ground-based photos for more detail. The picture  in the heading is the most up-to-date photo. Below, the pictures are in sequence from March 2016, when Bees N Blooms was established, through late June 2019, plus a few historical photos of the property and surrounding area. We’ll update as new satellite photos become available.

March 2016. Property purchased. Bees N Blooms established.
January 31, 2016, from the driveway of the residence looking west
July 2016. Vegetable beds planted and farm shed built. Upper and lower apiaries established. Labyrinth area mowed and cleared for layout.
May 18, 2016, Vegetable beds and shed, with Promenade path marked out.
July 2016, view from the residence. Promenade gravel in place.
February 9, 2017, after labyrinth created and planted.
June 2017. The first satellite view where the labyrinth is visible. Irrigation tank installed. Flower arcs partially constructed. North Block prepared for lavender planting. Greenhouse built and South Tree Nursery set up.
June 13, 2017. Flower arcs under construction.
August 15, 2017 view of the labyrinth.
October 2017. Flower arcs completed and North Block lavender planted. Arcs laid out in the "Skirt" area near the house. Trees planted along north edge of vegetable garden.
November 27, 2017. View of the finished arcs in the skirt.
February 2018. Spring green! Labyrinth entry paths and farm "prime meridian" under Sonoma Gold path rock. Creek apiary established. Footbridge to North Block built.
February 1, 2018 view of the labyrinth and vegetable beds.
June 2018. Sonoma Gold pathway rock down on entire labyrinth, Vitex trees planted down the Prime Meridian pathway. Red Flowering Gum tree nursery established, with 500 trees. Farm stand and CoolBot built.
June 8, 2018, after laying down Sonoma Gold gravel, with farmstand in the backdrop.
September 9, 2018. Tree nursery expanded. Flower arcs fully planted out. Pavilion area leveled and gravel down. Observatory area leveled.
August 2018. Flower arcs blooming.
October 2020 Progression. Poultry pen extended for more room, Side Kick Flower area expanded with more flower rows planted and produce bed planted behind tree nursery.
