500-hour Certified Yoga Teacher, Triyoga Basics Certified Instructor, Certified Yoga Therapist, Yoga Training Administrator & Ayurveda Enthusiast.

I practice and teach yoga for the health of it! For body, mind and spirit, I teach one-on-one sessions as well as group classes. My primary focus is on Triyoga Basics and Therapeutic yoga. I enjoy working with students/clients of all levels and through teaching foundational practices. I don’t expect perfection and encourage my students/clients to always practice within their own ability in that moment, because it can change in the next. I resonate with the holistic approach of yoga and like to weave basic yoga philosophy, health benefits and principles through the physical practice. I love the Triyoga method of yoga and use it as the foundation of my classes due to its deep attention to the flow of breath, postural alignment and relaxation in action. Students experience a calm mind, a relaxed body, and steady, even breath. The practice becomes on of moving meditation. Based on the 5 elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether, Triyoga offers deeply grounding kryias (flows) through the Earth & Ether, Flows, as well as strength and heating kriyas through the Water and Fire flows. My classes are geared to accommodate the beginner as well as the advanced practitioner. Come join me and see for yourself the wonderful benefits of yoga!

Namaste Yogis and Yoginis,

The Labyrinth is an ancient symbol that pertains to Wholeness and has long been used as a tool for meditation and prayer.  It represents the journey to our own Center and back out into the world again.  This pairs beautifully with the practice of Yoga, the process of drawing inward to discover the union of our individual consciousness with the Universal Consciousness, or that which is bigger than us.  By quieting our minds and bodies through the conscious practice of breath, posture and inner focus we begin to find peace in our Core which allows us to move through the world with more equanimity, ease and grace.

The Bees N Blooms labyrinth has a wonderful, magical feel.  As you meander through 1/2 mile of smooth gravel pathway to the center of the labyrinth you will be enveloped in the fragrance of Lavender, feeling the warmth of the sun on your shoulders and listening to the subtle buzzing of the bees.  You will be surrounded by the expansive view of the Santa Rosa Plain to the West and Taylor mountain to the East.  This all conspires to sooth your senses and bring focus to your thoughts.  There is also a direct, wheel-chair accessible path to the center, if you prefer.

Each Yoga on the Labyrinth Green class will offer 3 distinct parts to the journey.

1.  Release:  As you quietly spiral your way into the center of the Labyrinth you can begin to release your cares and worries allowing your heart to open and your mind to quiet down.  It is a great time to contemplate, meditate and/or pray as you wind your way inward.

2.  Receive:  As you land in the center of the Labyrinth you will come to your yoga mat as we collectively continue the journey to our Center.  We will drop deeper into the breath and delve into our Yoga practice, consciously moving with the breath through a series of postures to open, relax and strengthen the body, quiet the mind and come into awareness of our inner Self.  Class will culminate with a short mediation to fully integrate and receive the benefits of our practice.

3.  Return:  As you silently wind your way out from the center of the Labyrinth, emerging back into the world, you become more aware of, and in tune with, your Unity with the Whole, with your Self and with nature all around you.  Feeling calm settling in your heart center and peace flowing through your entire being you are ready to reemerge on your Life Path.
