What Happens After Peak Bloom?

We get lots of questions on why the farm closes after Lavender Daze. After peak bloom, when the bright purple fades, we harvest our lavender varieties, dry them in bunches, and debud them for use in our many lavender products produced right here at Bees N Blooms. Have you purchased some Lovely Lavender Lotion, Bees N Blooms Bath Bombs, sweet smelling sachets, or even our LaLa’s Jams? All of these products located at the Farm Stand are made with the lavender that is harvested in late July and August.  And the bees are busy making the lavender honey right now! We are grateful to our many guests who visit the farm during peak bloom, and can’t wait to share this year’s harvest with you when we open our doors again! We’ll also be at the Gravenstein Apple Fair this year. Look for the purple tent!

  1. I love this place! I participated in a Lavender Harvest a couple of years ago when I signed up and learned how to cut lavender. A large group of us worked and ate lunch together. Will that be happening again this year?

    • Hi Michelle,

I hope you are doing well! Nice to hear from you!

We are not doing the big harvest with community help this year. Maybe next year!

      Cheers,

      Susan
