Santa’s Elves have been busy here at Bees N Blooms! We’ve been making lavender gifts from our organic lavender, from exquisite lavender bath and body care products to delicious lavender edibles to some great stocking stuffers! We’re open for the HoliDaze on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in December through December 18 from 11 AM to 6 PM, so come on out and check out the goods! We’re at 3883 Petaluma Hill Road in Santa Rosa. While you’re here, take a walk around the labyrinth and enjoy the farm. It looks like we’re going to get some serious rain in the next few days, so once on the farm property, please do stay on the gravel roads to avoid the mud.
And now . . . about that yard work that you’ve been putting off . . . or maybe a small project? As you might imagine, we have lots of landscaping work to do and many projects. But we have great help from AG General Landscaping, run by Alberto Calvillo. Until recently, Alberto used to work at Sonoma State, where he was in charge of keeping the Green Music Center grounds looking spiffy. He and his crew only had evenings and weekends to do work for others part-time. But he decided to take the plunge, and in September went full-time with his landscaping business. For us, that is an incredible blessing, since Alberto and his crew can come in and make a wild mass of weeds look presentable in short order! And it could be for you too, if you need assistance.
Alberto and his crew are good with all kinds of work, including basic maintenance (weeding, mowing, pruning), planting both trees and ornamentals (and trust me, we are PICKY about that here, so only a few outsiders are trusted to do planting work), irrigation setup and repair, and tree pruning and removal. They are also great with project work. Here at Bees N Blooms, they’ve built several of our retaining walls, installed drainage, enclosed our lavender drying shed, put a galvanized roof on the farm stand deck, built our goose breeding pens, and much more. Alberto has all the equipment that might be needed for whatever project you have, including a big trailer for picking up loads of mulch or compost or gravel. And AG General Landscaping is fully licensed and insured.
Most important, Alberto has a good eye for what needs doing and is amazing to work with. He’s smart, creative, experienced, a good communicator, and has excellent attention to detail. So if you’ve been putting off that project because it looks too hard or you don’t have time, we highly recommend contacting Alberto. Email: albertocalvillo@ymail.com, Phone: (707) 328-3328.
Hope to see you on the farm!
Just checking. Is the email a gmail address?
Looks like there might be a typo
Thanks, Nancy
Hi Nancy,
No, that’s not a typo. There really is such a thing as “ymail”. I’ll add a note–I bet others are wondering as well.
Thanks!
Susan
LOVE the plug. What a great way to honor hard work.
And they DO work hard! We couldn’t do it without them!
