Coming Up at Bees N Blooms This Summer

The farm is buzzing! We have some wonderful experiences planned for our visitors in the summertime weeks ahead. Here’s the scoop!

Father’s Day on the Farm

Bring Dad out for a day of jazz on the farm. 10 AM to 4 PM, with music from the John Kalleen Jazz Group from noon to 3 PM. Bring a picnic and enjoy the music, the outdoors, and each other’s company. Tickets for admission to the farm are required, and can be purchased through our online store.

The Lavender U-Cut Experience
Come on out June 25-26, July 2-3, and/or July 9-10 for “Lavender U-Cut,” an incredible, hands-on experience when we open up our Grosso lavender field for guests to harvest their own bundles. This fun and beautiful time is right around the corner, so get your tickets soon! Tickets for admission to the farm are required, and can be purchased through our online store. Lavender bunches are $5 each. Live music in the Pavilion each day. Bring a picnic and enjoy!

Best-Dressed Contest
In the spirit of the Lavender U-Cut, this will be our first annual “Best-Dressed” Contest! Every year, we witness countless guests come to the Lavender U-Cut Experience with their friends & family in apparel so stunning that it is on par with the beauty of the purple sea of blooming lavender! This contest will celebrate and reward these fashionistas, so start planning your outfit! More details to come soon.

The Buick Club of the Redwoods Comes to Bees N Blooms for Lavender Daze
Love cars? This one’s for you! On June 26, the Buick Club of the Redwoods will bring their restored Buicks to the farm. We’re excited to have them! Music on that day is the Pamela Joyce and Bob McBain Duo, from noon to 3 PM.

Learn About Lavender Workshops
Are you looking to deepen your lavender cultivation skills & knowledge about lavender harvesting and processing? The Learn About Lavender workshop will do the trick! Come on out to the farm either July 23 or July 24 and learn from Bees N Blooms’ co-owner and founder Susan Kegley. Wear the old clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. More info about the tour here. Yin Yoga and Sound Healing
Join Cassiopeia Skyfish and Heather Zeeb on July 12 for another transformative and relaxing Sound Healing and Yin Yoga Journey. This collaboration will weave the power of sound and yin into one. Arrive as early as 6:15 to enjoy the labyrinth and check out the farm stand. The session starts at 7 PM and goes until 8:15 PM. Tickets here. Questions? Call Cassiopeia at (707) 228-6691.
