This Weekend—Open Farm for the Holidaze!

The time has come when we are opening our doors for the Holidaze, this weekend (December 4 & 5) and next weekend (December 11 & 12) only! Between 10am and 3pm, stop by to take a tour of Bees N Blooms and shop holiday gifts for your loved ones before we close for the season. We will have fresh new lavender products, gift sets, honey, and lavender plants for sale, as well as beautiful Amaryllis plants from Sidekick Flowers. Friends of The Labyrinth annual memberships will also be available for purchase at the Farm Stand for the 2022 new year. Give the gift of Bees N Blooms in more ways than one!

Exciting New Lavender Products!
Santa’s helpers have been hard at work to create new lavender-infused body care and culinary products. We now have lavender soap, body oil, hand balm, and bath salts. We’ve also expanded our culinary offerings to include lavender sugar (great for tea and for use in cookie-making) and lavender Himalayan salt to give roasted meats, fish or vegetables just a hint of lavender. Swayne Family Ranch olive oil is also available, as are our select flavored olive oils and balsamic vinegars from Evo-Oh. We also have beeswax candles and more!

Are you looking for a gift for that hard-to-please person on your list? We have ready-made gift sets to make your holiday shopping experience easy. Our Culinary gift set explores the diversity of cooking with lavender; the Lavender Bath and Body Care gift set enriches and restores the body and mind; the Pamper Yourself gift set sets the stage for relaxation during this busy holiday season; and the BNB gift set is the perfect souvenir of the farm.

Do you know someone who has been naughty? For the bad boys and girls on your list, we have lavender “coal” soaps that make a humorous stocking stuffer. It’s an exciting time to shop in our Farm Stand.

There’s still time to plant your own lavender before winter
We’ll also have lavender plants for sale, propagated from the labyrinth lavenders. Early to late fall is one of the best times to get new lavender plants in the ground. With a few warm days here and there between cold nights, the temperatures are usually perfect—not too hot, not too cool— for plants to get their roots established before winter dormancy. Come spring, they will be ready to burst forth with new growth so you can reap the rewards of beautiful bloom in June. We’ll have Hidcote Giant, Royal Velvet, Violet Intrigue, and Melissa. Check out the Lavender Bloom Status page to see their bloom patterns.

Tours

Take a tour while you’re here to find out about winter activities on the farm. Learn about regenerative organic agriculture and get some tips for your own garden! Tours start at 11 AM and 1 PM on all of our open days this month and last about 45 minutes. Tours are free, with no reservations required–just sign up at the farm stand when you arrive.

We hope to see you on the farm!
