This Saturday Only! Outdoor Open-Farm Holiday Shopping

Our open-farm holiday weekend is coming up quick! This Saturday only,  December 12 from 10am to 3pm, we will open our doors for some outdoor COVID-safe holiday shopping and a chance to enjoy the farm grounds one more time for the season. NOTE: We will not be opening on Sunday, December 13 because of rain. In this week’s blog we will share the inside scoop into some of the special holiday gift sets that will be available, products from our nursery, and logistics for when you arrive at the farm this weekend. Come on out! We look forward to having you!

If you haven’t already been to Bees N Blooms, or would like to experience the magic of the winter season, this weekend is the perfect time to take it all in. Come on out to walk the labyrinth, check the status of the cover crops we grow to ensure healthy soil, visit the geese, and shop our selection of lavender, honey, and other items from this season’s harvest. We have moved the Farmstand operation to the Pavilion, under tents, so you can have a COVID-safe outdoor shopping experience. When you arrive, please pull inside the gate and follow the signs to parking. In light of the recent shutdown order, we want to be sure everyone is observing COVID-19 precautionary measures. While visiting, we ask that everyone wear a mask and maintain social distancing. Thank you for your cooperation. Also, there is a slight chance of rain forecast for Saturday, so bring an umbrella or a raincoat.

Pre-packaged gift sets will be available for purchase in our Farm Stand to make your holiday gift-shopping a breeze!

Handmade wreaths by Sidekick Flowers will be available this weekend!

Add on to these gift sets with our very own Bees N Blooms honey, recently harvested from the hives, featuring honey made out of the nectar of lavender and blackberry summer forage – it is our signature honey! You don’t want to miss it as our honey goes quick. We will also have hand-made jewelry, pottery, fused glass lavender plates, cards and other quality gift items that will be sure to delight your special someone. Exquisite, handmade wreaths by Sidekick Flowers will be available as well as Gift cards to give the gift of Bees N Blooms!

Red Flowering Gum trees provide a brilliant floral display for your home and feed the pollinators too!

From the nursery, we will have lavender and rosy buckwheat in 1-gallon pots, as well as our organic, pollinator-friendly trees. Now is the time to plant trees, as the cool, wet winter weather allows the tree to get its roots established before the summer heat. Bring a vehicle that can carry a tree if you decide to purchase a tree or two. We can also deliver, if you’d prefer. The prices will be marked down significantly for this one weekend only (25% off sale prices on trees have been extended for the weekend), so if you’ve been thinking of getting a tree but haven’t gotten around to it, consider taking home a life-long friend that will provide shade and food for the pollinators in the ecosystem. We are selling Red Flowering Gum, Red Maple, Thornless Honey Locust, and Silverleaf Linden trees.

We look forward to seeing you soon! We will miss you over the winter break, but will rejoice to see you again in the Spring. Happy Holidays, may the season be bright!
