Mother’s Day Gifts from Bees N Blooms

Mother’s Day is fast approaching–here are  few gift ideas from Bees N Blooms to make your mom happy! Visit our Virtual Farm Stand to purchase and schedule a pickup here at the farm, 3883 Petaluma Hill Rd in Santa Rosa.

We have some special Mother’s Day bouquets from Sidekick Flowers. It’s rose season, so expect some lovely local roses, as well as other Sonoma County seasonal flowers like long-stemmed agrostemma, snapdragons, larkspur, stock, and godetia. Our pickup days will be Tuesday and SATURDAY this coming week (week of May 4) instead of Friday, so your flowers will be fresh for a Sunday gift.

We’ve also created some gift sets that we think you’ll love. You might even have to have one for yourself too!

1) Lavender Flight Gift Set: Includes one 10 mL bottle lavender essential oil, a 1.5 oz jar of honey, an 8 oz bottle of lavender Hydrosol, an 8 oz bag of Hidcote Giant culinary lavender buds, a cloth lavender sachet, and a lavender-themed kitchen towel.

2) Culinary Gift Set: Includes a 1 oz bag of Folgate culinary lavender, Swayne Ranch Olive Oil, a 3.8 oz jar of honey, a small lavender sachet and a wine-themed kitchen towel.

3) Mini Gift Set: Includes a 1.5 oz jar of Honey, a 5 mL bottle of lavender essential oil, a large lavender sachet and a 4 oz bottle of lavender Hydrosol.

For all of you honey lovers out there, we have several nice gift items available. We have a very special treat from Leisen’s Bridgeway Farms–some amazing comb honey in the shape the bees made it. Great as a conversation piece, as a display of the comb-building skills of the bees, and for your toast! Limited amounts available—the bees didn’t make too much honey like this.

Our honey sampler set is another popular gift item, with four different Sonoma County honeys. You can taste the difference between honeys from different locations in the county.

We hope you’ll find something you like at our Virtual Farm Stand!

Comb honey provides a glimpse into the hive and the amazing engineering skills of the bees.
If you can't decide what type of Sonoma County honey to get, try the sampler!
