There’s always a reason to celebrate

Back to back weekends full of sun and fun, Bees N Blooms posed as an ideal location to celebrate World Labyrinth Day and Mother’s Day. And peak lavender bloom isn’t far away! Check our Lavender Bloom Status page for the latest update.

Visitors at Bees N Blooms celebrated World Labyrinth Day with us two weeks ago to observe an international day of peace. Joining over 5,000 people taking steps for peace in labyrinths worldwide, visitors to the farm brought in their own special touch during this global celebration. Many enjoyed our lavender labyrinth, the largest in California, by walking, running, skipping along the path, and playing games in the center. We invited visitors to write their wish for peace on a piece of paper to hang on our Labyrinth arch. At the end of the day, wishes were flying through the air, like prayers sent through the wind.

Curious to read what some of their wishes were? Be sure to zoom in on the pictures below! What are your wishes for peace? If you feel moved to share, please post in the comments at the bottom of the page. Peace be with you and your family.

“Our wish is to be in the moment and be grateful for all of the beauty around us in every moment possible.”

Mother’s Day weekend was another cause for festivities. Our team of staff had fun making over 15 floral bouquets for customers with mothers to praise. Ironically, in our chicken coop during this time, one of our hens decided to be a mother – she was brooding over infertile eggs for 5 weeks straight, so we decided to put some newborn chicks under her in the middle of the night to make her dream of being a mother come true. Nature knows how to celebrate mother’s day too it seems.

Lavender bloom is coming on strong.Be sure to visit in the coming weeks. It will be a stunning display!
