We will have the farm stand open Easter Sunday, April 21 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. We have tomato and pepper plants, as well as some very interesting flower plants for your gardens. Cut flowers, honey and lavender too. Stop by, enjoy the labyrinth, and find something that gives you joy at the farm stand.
Coming next weekend (April 27-28) is our grand opening for the season! It’s Sonoma County Farm Trails weekend, where many member farms open their doors to the public. Register (it’s free) at the Farm Trails website to get a list of farms that are open for visiting. At Bees N Blooms, you can check out our new baby ducks (they are teenagers now, about 2 months old), the new baby Cotton Patch goslings (about 5 weeks old), and the chickens at the new Poultry Palace. We’ll also be doing some guided tours on both Saturday and Sunday, departing from the farm stand at the times shown.
11-11:30: The Bees of Bees N Blooms, Susan
12-12:30: Regenerative Organic Agriculture, Caitlyn
1-1:30: Flower Farming: How to have blooms from March to October, Seth
The Pine Needles band will be playing on Sunday, April 28 from 12-3 p.m., so bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the music and the day. The weather is forecast to be sunny and 70s—perfect!
