Lavender-Provence, Lavandula x intermedia
The classic French lavender, ‘Provence’ is tolerant of poor soils and a true heat lover; it’s even known to withstand heavy doses of summertime humidity. One of the tallest and most fragrant varieties, this French hybrid lavender grows to be 30-36” tall and wide and is an excellent choice for creating an aromatic hedge. Has exceptionally long, mauve-purple spikes of flowers that are complemented by its silver-green foliage.
