Lavender-Hidcote Blue, Lavandula angustifolia – ‘Hidcote Blue’
Hidcote Blue is a compact English lavender with an gorgeous dark-purple bloom, forming a low shrub 1.5-2 ft wide and tall with stems of 6-8 inches. Being one of the smaller lavenders, it is perfect for planting in a large-ish pot. It is a favorite for culinary purposes because of its mild flavor and beautiful purple buds. Blooms once in early summer.
