Calamint, Calamintha nepetoides
Calamintha is an easy-care, pollinator-friendly favorite that brightens the garden with tiny tubular white flowers on sturdy upright stems. The native bees absolutely LOVE this plant! The leaves release a lovely minty-oregano scent when brushed, so plant this hardy perennial in a sunny location along paths or garden borders where it will get some attention. Calamintha is happy in average soil and will tolerate both moist and dry soil conditions. Deer resistant. Shear back the first flush of flowers when they’ve faded to tidy up the plant and to encourage more flowers.
