Bastan Ancho, Capsicum annuum
Early ancho for organic cultivation. Big, smooth, 5 inch fruit are easy to peel and very uniform with moderate spice (1,000-2,000 Scoville Heat Units). The fruits are very large, avg. 5″ x 3″, and are typically two-lobed which makes them easy to stuff and cook in their signature dish, chile rellenos.
