Agastache-Anise Hyssop, Agastache foeniculum
Also known as lavender hyssop and licorice mint, this native midwestern U.S. perennial is loved by hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. Flower spikes 24” tall. The leaves and flowers make a refreshing licorice-fruity tea, and can be tossed in salads. The lavender-blue flower spikes are lovely in fresh floral arrangements or dried bouquets. Fairly drought tolerant once established. Deer and rabbit resistant. Full sun to part shade. Blooms summer to fall.
