Highlights of Lavender Daze 2024
New! Lavender at Sunset
There’s no better time than a glowing sunset to experience the full beauty of lavender. This year, we’re opening the farm on a few evenings during bloom time to share the love! Bring friends, a picnic to enjoy in the Pavilion, and a camera to capture the amazing light! The farm will open at 6PM and close at 9PM. The Farm Stand will be open from 6-7PM, where an assortment of your favorite lavender products will be available for purchase.
Jazz on the Farm with the John Kalleen Jazz Group
We’re thrilled to have the John Kalleen Jazz Group visiting the farm on May 26 (Memorial Day weekend), June 16 (Father’s Day), and July 14 (Bastille Day) during lavender bloom. The John Kalleen Group is a classic ”Blue Note Era” jazz quintet! They offer fresh compositions, echoing the admired hard bop and post-bop eras of the 50s, 60s and 70’s but infused with a modern, dynamic spark. They will be playing in our pavilion on these dates. Lavender Daze tickets are priced $20 on these days.
New! The Lavender Adirondack Chair
Looking for the most picturesque spot in all of California? This summer, we are unveiling our new, jumbo lavender Adirondack chair. Take a one-of-a-kind picture in the chair with the scenic lavender labyrinth as your backdrop!
The Lavender U-Cut Experience
The last three weekends of Lavender Daze are when we open our 1-acre lavender field for the Lavender U-Cut Experience and Best Dressed Contest! June 28-30, July 5-7, and July 12-14, are Lavender U-Cut days. The French lavender variety Grosso is the best for long-lasting fragrance, and we have a full acre of it for you and your loved ones to harvest for a small, additional fee.
We are interested in coming to the jazz concert on Father’s Day June 16. What time does that start, can we bring our own picnic/wine and do we need Reservations
Jazz starts at noon and goes until 3pm. And yes! You are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in the Pavilion. We don’t do table reservations on that day, but people share the tables and we have not run out of space before. You will need a Lavender Daze ticket to get into the farm on that day, but there are no additional reservations needed beyond that. See you on the farm!
Best,
Susan
