The most awaited weeks of lavender season begin this weekend with peak bloom occurring Friday May 31 through about June 16th. The lavender labyrinth lights up with brilliant purples, lavender, whites, and pinks. Each circle in the labyrinth is a different lavender variety. From mid-June to mid-July, the Grosso lavender field is in peak bloom, perfect for the Lavender U-Cut Experience. Check the status of the blooms every week here. Typically updated on Thursdays.
What To Do at Bees N Blooms:
- Find your Way Through the Labyrinth and Flower Garden
Grab a map located at the entrance of the labyrinth and enjoy a self-guided tour through the seven varieties of lavender located in the labyrinth! Get a Farm Bingo card and play to win a free sticker or honey stick!
- Wander through the Flower and Butterfly Gardens
What beautiful spots for pictures! Enjoy the gardens and the variety of flowers to be seen. You can enjoy a wide variety of pollinator-friendly flowers that will continue to bloom all season long. From sunflowers and zinnia to agastache and black-eyed susan, you can enjoy the array of flowers through the tunnel and take a pause to rest at one of our many benches.
- Take a Shopping Trip to the Farm Stand
Shop our lavender teas, salt, sugar, as well as home and body care products that are made right here! Bring home a dried bundle to make your home smell fresh or shop our certified organic plant nursery to find pollinator-friendly plants for your garden.
- Snap a Picture on the Giant Purple Chair
Get your picture perfect moment while sitting on the giant purple chair with the beautiful lavender labyrinth in the background! We also have a swinging bench on the tree for sweet moments with adults and children-alike. Remember to practice safe supervision for maximum fun!
- Visit the Poultry Palace
Chickens, geese, and ducks, oh my! Stop by the poultry palace and visit our geese friends. The chickens love to be fed with their special food by the gate. See if you can spot our lucky duck! Did you know that our poultry serve multiple purposes on the farm? While the chickens and ducks provide eggs, the ducks walk the farm helping to naturally rid the flower beds of pests like slugs. The geese provide endless entertainment!
- Bring a Picnic and Relax
Our farm is filled with shaded spots where you can relax! From tables under the shade of umbrellas, a spot on the green grass overlooking the vegetable garden or on a bench amongst the flowers you can eat and drink or take a pause and meditate in our natural fields.

Is it possible to enjoy a visit without close contact with bees?
Hi Ellie,
Yes! If you steer clear of brushing up against flowers, you’ll miss most of the bees. The Pavilion is a lovely place to sit to enjoy the view without having to deal with bees. If you are allergic though, you should wait until after peak bloom to visit. While a sting is unlikely, it is possible.
