Plan Your Outfit for the Best-Dressed Contest at Lavender Daze!

Let Your Inner-Fashionista Roam Free this Lavender U-Cut Season!

Year after year, we stand awe-struck by the stunning outfits that our guests wear to harvest from (and of course, snap a few photos in) our bright, purple field of Grosso lavender. We decided it was time to celebrate our lavender divas! Each open-farm day for the rest of Lavender Daze, we will host a “Best-Dressed” Contest! Winners will receive a lavender gift set from our collection! Already know what you’re going to wear? Perfect! “But wait, what are the rules?” We’re glad you asked.

Guidelines for the Best-Dressed Contest

  1. To participate, you must attend our open-farm Lavender Daze on at least one of the following days in 2024: June 28-30, July 5-7, July 12-14. Photos must be taken on the farm. Tickets are required, so buy them ASAP! You can purchase them here.
  2. Bee Creative! Our panel of judges will cast in their votes each open-farm day according to three guidelines:
    • Creativity: Although most visitors take pictures in the Grosso field or the Labyrinth, your photo-op can be anywhere on the farm.
    • Originality: Surprise us with your stellar fashion skills!
    • True to the Lavender/Floral Theme: Integrate your outfit with the colors and flowers in the landscape here at Bees N Blooms.

How to Enter the Best-Dressed Contest

Once you’ve snapped a photo of you or your group adorned in your jaw-dropping outfit(s), follow these steps to enter:

  1. Post a picture of you or your group in your beautiful attire to Instagram no later than 4 PM on the same day you dress up & attend Lavender Daze.
  2. Tag us in your post: @bees_n_blooms
  3. Include the hashtag: #BNBBestDressed2024

Safety

While we encourage posing with the gorgeous lavender and colorful flowers, please be mindful of the bees! Do not stand directly over the lavender plants. Bees can fly up dresses–oh no! Keep a sufficient distance from the lavender plants that you don’t crush the plants or inadvertently squash a bee. Our pollinator friends are currently doing an amazing job harvesting nectar from the abundance of blooms, so ‘bee’ careful!
