Black Beauty, 85 days to maturity
Gorgeous, delicious and extremely unique; one of the darkest and most exotic looking tomatoes in the world. This fruit contains extremely high anthocyanin content resulting in rare and amazing nutritional content compared to the more traditional tomato colors. Black Beauty grows on vigorous indeterminate vines, with regular foliage but with purplish hues showing up in the stem and leaves with temperature fluctuations. The fruits shine bluish/black in the sunshine and ripen with a deep burgundy base. Raspberry red flesh with sweet, rich luscious flavor. A gem in the tomato world! Indeterminate.
Black Krim Tomato, 80 days to maturity
One of our favorites! Black Krim is known for its beautiful dark colors that range from browns to red. The more heat and sun the plant gets, the darker the tomato gets! It has a wonderfully bold and slightly smokey favor that is a favorite among many chefs. This medium sized heirloom grows to be 8oz and makes a great addition to any garden! Indeterminate.
Brandywine Tomato, 85 days to maturity
Big beauty! This popular beefsteak-sized tomato produces rosy pink fruit with pumpkin-like ridges with potato-like foliage. It is considered to be the benchmark for traditional tomato favor and is perfect addition to be sliced for a sandwich. The late producing fruit is worth the wait! Indeterminate.
Cipollas Pride, 82 days to maturity
Large sauce tomato. Tough plants produce impressive yields of high-quality 10–16 oz. fruits in a concentrated set, which is ideal for home gardeners harvesting for canning and sauce. The flavor is fantastic and fully developed. Dry texture ensures fruits cook down quickly. Indeterminate.
New Girl Tomato, 62 days to maturity
Developed from “Early Girl”, this disease-resistant tomato produces 4oz-6oz fruit with wonderful flavor. If you are looking for a early producing tomato that does very well in part shade, this is your girl! Determinate.
Pink Berkeley Tie Dye Tomato, 65-75 days to maturity
Local favorite here! The stunning fruit are dark pink with green metallic striping, and the flesh is pink with yellow streaks. The relatively compact, indeterminate plants produce early for such a large tomato. This beefsteak-type tomato is great for thick slices for sandwiches or burgers and so much more! Indeterminate.
Rebel Starfighter Prime, 65 days to maturity
One of the most unique and beautiful fruits in the garden with delectable flavor to match. These exotic shaped jewels are deep purple with raspberry pink, mahogany, green, and coral striping with flecks of gold. The flesh is chocolate colored with rich, sweet and complex flavor. With its wispy foliage and droopy growth habit, strong supports installed early are necessary for this variety to be successfully trellised. Indeterminate.
Rosso Sicilian, 75 days to maturity
A beloved Italian heirloom and summertime favorite! Deeply ribbed, bright red fruits are produced in the masses on semi-determinate vines. One of the earliest varieties to ripen in the garden. This multipurpose gem has a very hollow seed cavity with thick and juicy walls making it wonderful for sauces, canning, dehydrating (due to its low moisture content) and absolutely perfect for stuffing. It’s also a beautiful and tasty variety to eat fresh as its tender flesh and scalloped shape makes for a gorgeous and tantalizing presentation on the plate! Semi-determinate.
Sgt. Pepper’s Tomato, 82 days to maturity
The crowned queen of the tomato garden. Stunningly beautiful in every way. These glorious plants are loaded with large, oxheart fruits, season after season. They start with deep purple shoulders and a light violet base, than ripen to a stunning black and deep pink color combination. Don’t let the droopy habit of these thin vines fool you. With good support, these plants can out-produce almost any other variety in the garden. Extremely meaty, with delectable flavor that is rich, sweet and very well balanced. Indeterminate.
Sungold Tomato, 57 days to maturity
Crowd favorite for its exceptionally sweet flavor! Vibrant orange cherry tomatoes that start yielding early and continue through the season. Grown on long grape-like trusses, with 10-15 fruit in each cluster. Indeterminate.
Washington Cherry, 60 days to maturity
A determinate cherry tomato! High-yielding compact plants. Globe-shaped fruits have a deep-red color. Thick-walled, meaty, and flavorful, with good keeping quality on or off the vine. Widely adapted to different climates. Determinate.
Zluta Kytice Tomato, 65 days to maturity
One of the most desirable multiflora varieties! Hundreds of one inch, golden yellow, teardrop-shaped cherry tomatoes are produced on each plant. Flavor is rich, complex and slightly sweet with firm, tender flesh. Very beautiful fruits with so many on each truss it can be challenging to harvest them all! Indeterminate.
Sweet Peppers
Gatherer’s Gold Sweet Pepper, 65-85 days to maturity
One of the few open-pollinated horn-shaped golden peppers available. Each plant produces an abundance of green peppers that ripen to a golden orange. Thick-walled, sweet, and tasty with relatively few seeds, these peppers are superb raw or sautéed, and are a wonderful variation on the classic Italian frying pepper.
Habanada, 70 (green), 100 (orange) days to maturity
A true game-changer in the pepper world. ‘Habanada’ is the world’s first “heat-less” habanero. Instead of heat, it delivers a blast of sweet tropical flavors. Excellent seared, braised, roasted, or raw, ‘Habanada’ is a versatile culinary jewel. Extremely productive and early. Can be used at the green stage, but ‘Habanada’ reaches the pinnacle of flavor and texture when it turns a beautiful orange hue.
Jimmy Nardello, 65-75 days to maturity
An almost uncanny sweet, fruity flavor makes these peppers tempting and delightful eaten straight off the plant, but traditional Italian cuisine typically uses them for frying. The long, slender fruit will easily reach 6–9 inches starting green and ripening to red. This long, thin-skinned frying pepper dries easily and has such a rich flavor that this variety has been placed in “The Ark of Taste” by the Slow Food organization. Ripens to a deep red, is very prolific, and does well in most areas.
Lunchbox Pepper, Orange 63 (green), 83 (color) days to maturity
These beautiful, mini-sized orange peppers are delicious sautéed, as an addition to salads and, perfect for a healthy snack in your favorite person’s lunchbox! The sweet, fruity-flavored peppers average 2 1/2-3″ long by 1 1/2″ wide and ripen from green to yellow to golden yellow. Tall, strong plants that yield well.
Lunchbox Pepper, Yellow 63 (green), 83 (color) days to maturity
These beautiful, mini-sized yellow peppers are delicious sautéed, as an addition to salads and, perfect for a healthy snack in your favorite person’s lunchbox! Nadapeño, 55 (green) 90 (red) days to maturity
Do you love the flavor and appearance of jalapeños but can’t take their heat? Then ‘Nadapeno’ is for you! This truly heatless jalapeño is perfect for those with sensitivity or aversion to the heat of traditional jalapeño peppers. Great for pickling, stuffing, poppers and salsa. This variety is very early and prolific!
Olympus Bell Pepper, 65 (green), 85 (red) days to maturity
Large flavorful bell peppers. Widely adapted, Olympus has performs well in most climates. Medium size plants with good leaf cover. Produces high yields of large, uniform fruits with good flavor. Perfect for stuffing peppers, spaghetti sauces, and more!
Shishito Peppers, 60 (green), 80 (red) days to maturity
The ‘Shishito’ is finding its way into many restaurants as a popular appetizer. The 2″–4″ slender peppers have a citrusy, slightly smoky flavor enhanced by grilling or sauteeing and served with a dash of salt. Highly productive plants.
Sweet Chocolate Organic Peppers, 58 (green), 78 (brown) days to maturity
This rare, early bell pepper ripens from glossy green to dark-brown chocolate. Its mild taste and unusual color are a great addition to salads or stir fries. The fruit has blunt ends, thick flesh, and is medium in size.
Sweet Purple Beauty Pepper, 70-75 days to maturity
Pick a peck of PURPLE peppers! This bell pepper grows on compact plants which produce a good yield of blocky, deep-purple peppers. Their mild, sweet flavor and unique color make them a perfect addition to a salad. The peppers turn green when cooked.
Hot Peppers
Altiplano serrano, 57 (green), 77 (red ripe) days to maturity
This giant Serrano pepper is about 1 to 4 inches long on average and 1/2 inch wide. Serranos are perfect for salsas, sauces, relishes, garnishes, hot sauces and more. They are usually best when roasted. Serrano peppers are great for their delicious spicy kick, either roasted, pan cooked, or fresh as a garnish.
Baron Ancho 65 Green/85 Red days to maturity
Highly adaptable, large-fruited poblano pepper. Baron has proven to produce better than other poblanos under both challenging and favorable conditions. The fruits are very large, avg. 5″ x 3″, and are typically two-lobed which makes them easy to stuff and cook in their signature dish, chile rellenos.
Black Hungarian Hot Pepper, 70-80 days to maturity
Heirloom. Black Hungarian Peppers yield 4″-6″, tapered fruit that starts out glossy black and ripens to red. The fruit has a mild to hot, smoky flavor. This tasty pepper is also highly ornamental with its lovely lavender flowers and purple veined leaves. The plants grow to about 36″ tall and stands well without support.
Early Jalapeño, 60 (green), 80 (red) days to maturity
Lots of bold flavor in a small, 3″ pepper, ‘Early Jalapeno’ is better adapted to cooler climates than other jalapeños, ready for harvest after only 60 days. Incredibly versatile, they’re hot enough to add a little kick to your favorite dish, but mild enough for any meal. Enjoy green or allow to ripen to red for a sweeter, bolder flavor.
Highlander Anaheim Pepper 65 green, 85 red days to maturity
This Anaheim variety is bred for high yields even in cooler regions. With its medium hot heat, 7 inch by 2 inch fruits ripen to red but are usually used green for stuffing, grilling, or roasting. Very versatile pepper in the kitchen!
New Mexico Joe Parker Pepper 65-85 days to maturity
New Mexico Joe Parker hot pepper is a heavy-yielding plant that produces tapered 6″-7″ pods with a mild, lively flavor. This productive Anaheim type is usually harvested green and used for stuffing, roasting, or grilling, but can also be dried.
Jalapeño Lemon Spice 65 days to maturity
What a fabulous new color for a jalapeno! Created by the Chile Pepper Institute in New Mexico to have less heat than a green jalapeño and with a citrus undertone. They start out green but ripen to bright, sunny yellow. Pick at both stages for a colorful jar of pickled peppers!
Jedi Jalapeño Pepper, 72 (green) 82 (red) days to maturity
The Jedi jalapeño is a giant-sized jalapeño that is not generally as hot as the smaller varieties. The large plant produces over a long harvest window, especially in regions with a long growing season. High-yielding and tasty!
Paprika Leutschauer, 85 days to maturity
A lovely drying pepper that comes from Matrafured, Hungary. It has been grown there since the 1800s when it was brought from Leutschau (Slovakia). The short, erect plants grow fast and are loaded with medium-hot paprikas sporting a sweet aroma and crisp texture. Its great flavor, uniform shape, and thin walls make it terrific for smoking, drying, and grinding to a delicious spicy powder. Very rare and not often found outside of its native Hungary!
Pasilla Bajio, 85 days to maturity
Pasilla Bajio peppers (Capsicum annuum ‘Pasilla bajio’) is one of the “holy trinity” of peppers used in traditional mole sauces, along with anchos and mulatos. Spanish for “little raisin,” the pasilla bajio is known as chilaca in its immature green stage; at maturity, it also goes by the names achocolatado, chile negro, and Mexican negro. They produce a high yield of slightly curved fruits that grow about 6 to 7 inches in length. Only mildly hot, so cook one up with your scrambled eggs for a taste treat!
Purple Cayenne 75-85 days to maturity
Heirloom. A rare variety of the popular Cayenne pepper seed that is known for its distinctive purple color (in contrast to the more typical red seen in the more common types of Cayenne peppers). Cayenne Purple peppers are a popular choice for anyone who wants a unique plant that can both provide a good yield of hot peppers and add some ornamental decoration to a vegetable garden. Moderately hot, 30,000-50,000 SHU.
Purple Tiger Pepper, 90 days to maturity
Purple Tiger hot pepper seeds are known for both heat and value as an ornamental garden vegetable. Purple Tiger seeds produces very unique in appearance and will add a delightful burst of color to any garden while also providing deliciously hot little peppers that can be used in a variety of culinary dishes. Try growing Purple Tiger peppers on any sunny patio or garden bed as an exotic and edible ornamental. Mild-Moderate heat, 5,000 Scoville Heat Units.
Red Flame Cayenne Pepper, 60 green, 80 red days to maturity
Dries quickly to a bright crimson for an eye-catching presentation. Sweet-hot flavor. Thin walls, so easy to dry and grind to cayenne powder. Big, productive plants.
