Lavender-Hidcote Giant, Lavandula x intermedia
One of the larger lavenders, this highly aromatic shrub forms a bushy mound of narrow, gray-green foliage, with 2-ft. long stems of puffy violet-blue flower spikes. A wonderful addition to dry, sunny borders and gardens. Works well as a hedge plant and highly effective in mass plantings. At Bees N Blooms, this variety forms the outer circle of the Lavender Labyrinth. Flowers can be used in cooking and potpourii. Attracts bees, butterflies & hummingbirds.
