Spring Festivities at Bees N Blooms

Spring is in full swing at Bees N Blooms! Whether you’re looking for organic plants for your garden, a peaceful way to celebrate Mother’s Day, or dreaming of walking through waves of blooming lavender, there’s something for everyone on the farm this spring and summer.

Spring Plant Sale

Our Nursery is bursting with pollinator-friendly flowers, Certified Organic vegetables, and lush lavender varieties. Now is the perfect time to stock your garden with plants that support pollinators and add vibrant beauty to your landscape. The Nursery is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10 AM to 4 PM until May 18th. You can also order plants for pickup on our Online Store.

Mother’s Day

Join us on Sunday, May 11th and treat Mom to a relaxing day surrounded by nature, fresh-cut flowers, lavender, and a peaceful farm setting. Reserve a table in the Pavilion and bring a picnic to enjoy amidst the beauty of the farm. Reservations for a table are $5 per group, with two time slots available: 11 AM to 12:30 PM and 12:30 PM to 2 PM. The farm grounds will be open 10 AM to 4 PM, but reservations are required if you would like a table. Reserve your table here. Want to get a gift for mom? Spring Farm Trails Weekend

We are so happy to be a part of Sonoma County’s Farm Trails Weekend this Spring, on Saturday, May 17th and Sunday, May 18th. Many other farms will open their doors to the public to celebrate Bees, Blossoms, and Barnyard Babies. Register with Farm Trails (it’s free to register) to access the insider’s guide and interactive map. We will be offering three different tours here at Bees N Blooms.

  • Buzz About Bees: Find out what the bees are doing at this time of year and what you can do to help them. Offered on Sunday, May 18th at 11 AM and 1 PM.
  • Lavender Growing & Processing: Learn about different varieties of lavender and how we process it here to make lavender buds, essential oil, and hydrosol. Offered on Saturday, May 17th at 1 PM and Sunday, May 18th at 1 PM.
  • Our Feathered Friends: Meet the chickens, ducks, and geese and find out what they do on the farm. Offered on Saturday, May 17th at 11 AM and 1 PM and on Sunday, May 18th at 11 AM and 1 PM.

Tours are $5 per person, including kids, and can be purchased here.

Lavender Bloom Fest

Mid-May to mid-July is the time when all the lavender at Bees N Blooms is blooming with bright purple radiance, and we open the farm to the public for Lavender Bloom Fest! Come visit us on Saturdays and Sundays between May 24th and July 13th, from 10 AM to 4 PM, and on selected Friday evenings (May 30th and every Friday in June), from 6 PM to 9 PM. This is the best time to come out to enjoy all that the farm has to offer, especially the vibrant labyrinth and wide variety of blossoming flowering plants. Find more details on Lavender Bloom Fest here. Tickets are required and can be purchased here. $15 per person on most days, $20 on days with the Jazz Band, kids 12 and under are free with an adult.

    Is there an entrance fee to visit the nursery?

    • We only charge admission during Lavender Bloom Fest, May 24-July 13 this year, not during our plant sales. So come on out and check out the nursery!
