The Grosso lavender is ready for harvest, which means it’s the time of year to learn about making woven lavender wands, lavender baskets, and other lavender crafts. Bees N Blooms will be hosting two Lavender Craft Workshops this summer where we will teach you how to transform a simple bundle of lavender into a long-lasting and lovely fragrant lavender wand or basket. Workshops are limited to 20 participants and include fresh lavender to work with, ribbon, and other supplies needed to make lavender wands and baskets. Workshop dates and times are:
Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 12–1:30 PM
Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 12–1:30 PM
Adult: $25
Child: $15
Family (adult plus two children): $50
Children must be accompanied by an adult. This workshop is not recommended for children under 10 or so, as it requires good manual dexterity and may be frustrating for small children.
We’ll meet at the Event Center (the dark green house near the palm tree) at Bees N Blooms at 3883 Petaluma Hill Road. Drive through the gate and follow the parking signs to park along the garden fence, facing north. Please don’t block the road.
