Red Crape Myrtle

The Red Crape Myrtle tree has smooth bark and blooms in summer time with showy clusters of pink/red flowers. Its’ leaves are dark green and glossy, and does best in full sun. This tree can grow ten to fifteen feet tall and attracts bees and birds. It is drought resistant and is adaptable to most soils. Occasional pruning is recommended to improve the tree shape.
